           Our reseach focuses on the conducting polymer based Supercapacitor. Supercapacitors are considered to be next generation energy storage devices with wide application area such as, elctronic devices, hybrid vehicles, etc. The performance of a supercapacitor is heavily dependent on the electrode material performance. Conducting polymers are excelent candidate for electrode material becase of, moderate energy density, high power density but suffers from low cyclic stability. In our study we mainly focuses on the improvement of cyclic stability of conducting polymer by covalent modifications.
